Katala hatched from an OG Egg in a release-week session. The pet card described an early-player bird that raises fruit sales and the chance of golden and rainbow fruit in special weather. Do crops grow while I am offline?

Yes. The game page says the garden keeps growing while you are offline. Sleeping inside the bahay kubo is extra: that prompt said growth is 1.5 times faster while you sleep.

How do I plant a seed?

Equip the seed, plant it on an available plot, water it, and harvest it when it is fully grown. The tutorial uses E and a shining button for the first kalamansi.
