Plant and sell your first crop

Follow Mr. Nonoy from the first seed to the first peso sale, using the planting steps on the game page.

Mr. Nonoy meets you at the start and calls himself the oldest farmer in town. He teaches one step at a time: a seed, β‚±20 for the first purchase, and a shining button that shows where to press E. The crop in that lesson is kalamansi.

The game page states the same loop in four steps.

  1. Equip the seed you want to plant.
  2. Plant it on any available plot on your farm.
  3. Water the crop and wait for it to grow.
  4. When it is fully grown, harvest it and sell it.

After the sale, the tutorial's own summary is buy, plant, water, pick, sell, then put the pesos back into seeds. Bigger and rarer fruit sells for more. That is the rule to use before any shop percentage you might see later.

Finish this lesson before you hunt the Codes button. The Codes button is in the upper-right after that short tutorial. RELEASE and BAHAYKUBO are the two codes the game description tells you to use. The steps are on the codes page.

When the first fruit is sold, pick the next job from what you actually need:

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do crops grow while I am offline?

Yes. The game page says the garden keeps growing while you are offline. Sleeping inside the bahay kubo is extra: that prompt said growth is 1.5 times faster while you sleep.

How do I plant a seed?

Equip the seed, plant it on an available plot, water it, and harvest it when it is fully grown. The tutorial uses E and a shining button for the first kalamansi.

Where do I enter a code?

Open the Codes button in the upper-right. Type the code into the box that says Type a code here, then press the green REDEEM button.

What money does the farm use?

Pesos, shown as β‚±. You earn them by selling fruit and spend them on seeds, eggs, tools, and Land Office upgrades.

Can I switch the game to Filipino?

Yes. The game page says to change the language in Settings. Turning Graphics off in that same menu is the suggested fix when the game lags.
